Circle by tok2 Circle by tok2
I wanted a simplistic samurize skin so i made it in circles.
Quite hard to explain wich is wich but the inner three circles is the clock. Upper left circles is harddisk information. The lower circles is the memory information and internetload. The right circle is the cpu load circle... you might wanna download it and see for yourself to 'follow me'

Any chance of you porting this over to Rainmeter? If so, you've got a fan. Please let me know...

Really awesome, gotta try this out when I get on my pc, if only I could integrate temperature and wind meter in this I would be set, however would be hard to decide what scale to use.

Nice work (maybe...) but sorry, under 7ven and samurize V1.64.3 it simply does't work: divide by zero error kind of like error.
Too bad as it seemed a rellay nice meter!

If i remember correctly, samurize is not been jury rigged to fit windows seven as of now. Perhaps at another time it will come to said conclusion and you will be able to use it as you wish

Just one more thing, if by any chance you'll come by this page...
I succeded to make it work under 7ven using the compatibility box and tried to tweak your config, but I just don't understand the redundancy of some meters, like the HDD ones: you have two meters monitoring the same data....!?!? What is also the purpose of the 'test value%' parameter in the display tab (config editor)? (Samurize site is down and I just can't find anywhere an help file about this software)

But, how did you make them circular?
Overlapping graphics or scripts or what?

its a meter with pie draw type :)
the different draw types are:
text
graph
progressbar
histogram
analog
pie

Beautiful, simplistic, and technical. Too technical for me, I really wish I could appreciate it. So props, but I will have to learn how to use it :meditate:

Samurize is not difficult to learn :) You worst fears will be if you try to get one meter to react when hovering your mouse over another, still haven't figured that one out :)

you should have the ability to change it to 360°. The degrees define the length of the ';pie'

I was getting the floating point division error also.

I deleted mem pagefile from the config and was able to load it without that error.

i don't suppose there's anyway you would be able to show me a diagram telling me which portions represent what? cause i love the aesthetic of the program, its just not very functional without knowing which parts of the circle represent what

tok2 Featured By Owner Aug 26, 2008
That's the point :) in a way
Why I haven't made it with a 'diagram' is to force the user to enter the editor to figure out what's what and change if necessary :)
So instead of me telling you a is x and b is z you try it yourself and configure it after your computer (you may have 8 harddrives etc)

hmm, You should be able to give input commands, e.g. doubleclicking x pie gives a balloon with information, like Maxtor harddrive at %v° celsius
Fool around in the thing, samurize is EXTREMELY versatile for a freeware program! :)

could be worse aye? :)
Samurize got something called an Import/Export tool and it's usually associated with .sam files when you install samurize, if you don't choose otherwise. When you've downloaded the .sam file you just doubleclick it and the import/export tool gives you a few different options, IE what network card it should monitor et cetera.

Thanks for that, I figured it out when I was surfing for stuff the day I found it :x
I guess I was a little bit too eager to figure the stuff out by myself but it ended falling into my lap.
